Master Manipulator

In a 3 player game, Conner won in 6 moves. Conner manipulated his opponents in taking each other out and then swooped in to finish off the last player with magic.
Sabra failed Dauntain's Turret's fire, which drew Sabra out to combat the Turret. Dauntain came out and used his Ricochet Shot bonus to take Sabra out. Saeline's Turret then shot Dauntain, who failed to block.

Victory in 5 moves, 2 player game, 8 player setup. Tyrolane vs. Sabra.
Eliminate Sabra's Turret. Fire at Sabra with Tyrolane 's Turret to force Sabra out. Successfully defend against Sabra's combat and charge her for 2 damage. Sabra went hunting and removed only 1 damage. Turret moved and shot Sabra, which she failed to block.

Despite Saeline's Mirror Fire bonus, Dillon marched a Pawn deep into yellow territory, using combat along the way, claiming it was critical to his plan. He was successful with his second pawn. He then moved his blue Queen to what seemed like an unnecessary position. He then teleported Sealine to the blue pawn and used her magic, wiping out Tyrolane's army and destroying his armor.
As a result, Tyrolane stepped forward to attack Saeline with Close Combat. As expected, Tyolane stepped to the side to avoid the Close Combat bonus of the blue pawn. Tyrolane wins, destroying Saeline's armor. On Saeline's next turn, instead of stepping away from the blue pawn and shooting Tyrolane, Dillon had the blue Queen swoop in to charge Tyrolane for the last point of damage and finishing him off.
In short, Dillon used Saeline to attack and as bait.
Shapeshifting Pawn
Cameron Stringham - SaltCON, 2018
An injured Tyrolane, with 3 damage from defeating Sabra, was trying to stop a blue pawn from reaching the center spaces. Tyrolane went hunting instead and failed. The blue pawn used its move to the center spaces and became a Queen. The Queen was then able to use its attack, opening fire on Tyrolane, who failed the block.

Hoping to take advantage of the 8-player gameboard, Saeline used her long-distance Bishop to teleport behind Sabra's army, use her magic, and obliterate Sabra's army. Saeline, with her 5 space magic range, planned to be out of Sabra's attack range by moving two spaces and shooting 2 spaces.
After much deliberation and planning, Rob had Sabra's player move closer two spaces and throw her magic spell instead of shooting at Saeline's Bishop-ride. As Bishops have no armor, Sabra's weak magic was enough to capture it, thereby trapping Saeline behind enemy lines and allowing Sabra to finish off Saeline at her leisure.

Axis was hunting a wounded Shyrosck, who was unwilling to come close to the dragon hunter's kingdom. William created a tempting lure to the dragon assassin, whose armor had been compromised. Taking advantage of Shyrosck's difficulty to hunt, Axis hunted several animals in front of his kingdom's doorsteps, hoping to bait her close to his ax's blade.
