Expanse Pack Stats-Version 2
After our game at Game Haven, I realized the Expanse Pack character's stats need an upgrade. I know what I did wrong so I've created/documented a set of rules for these new stats so we don't make the same mistake again.
I've also documented the rules so that people can create their own characters in the future with another add-on version, "Make Your Own Hero."
Starter Pack’s Stat Process:
Stats between 4 characters need to balance between all of them.
Move Spaces + Armor Defense are connected stat groups. (Example: The higher the Move Spaces, the lower the Armor Defense.)
Armor Defense + Fire Block are connected stat groups. (Example: The higher the Armor Defense, the ‘lower’ the Fire Block.)
Fire Range and Fire Power are connected stat groups. (Example: The higher the Fire Range, the lower the Fire Power.)
Magic Range and Magic Power are connected stat groups. (Example: The higher the Magic Range, the higher the Magic Power. In a balanced character, Magic Range is higher than Magic Power).
Close Combat is a ‘free’ stat and does not connect to another stat. This is used to absorb any left-over stats from the other groups.
Expanse Pack’s Stat Process:
Start with Core Kingdom character’s stats
Subtract the weakest stat and hold it in reserve
Add the reserve stat to the Expanse character’s highest stat, or the stat that will support their highest bonus.
Stats between characters still need to balance between them.
Highest stats strengths’ rules can be broken (Example: Nyrolate moves Magic Power points to Magic Range, or Shyrosck Fire Power points to Fire Range).
Move equal stat groups between characters to complete them (Example: Nyrolate and Shyrosck trade Close Combat, Armor Defense, and Fire Block so that Nyrolate, as a ghost, has no Armor and Shyrosck, as a fast-flying dragon, has no Combat. Fire Block + Armor Defense are connected stat groups. Can’t move one without affecting the other).
